Making a comeback in T20 is a tough task: Misbah

By Staff

Bangalore, May 28 (UNI) Dashing Pakistan batsman Misbah-ul-Haq today opined that it is very difficult to make a comeback in T20 game after a team makes a shaky start in a league like the IPL.

When asked what went wrong for Bangalore Royal Challengers in the IPL, he said, ''T20 format is such that you should have good momentum right from the beginning and it is really difficult to make a comeback if you fail to take off properly.'' In an interview to Max, he said it is difficult to adjust to T20 game for those who had played Test match cricket. ''We have played more than two T20 matches a day abroad. The format is such that you have to be quick right from the start.'' About playing in the inaugural IPL, he said, ''it gave me a good opportunity to meet and exchange views with foreign players and to learn more about the game.'' Earlier, Misbah, who turned 24 today, was greeted by all the players of Mumbai Indians team and his teamates.

A group of children, taking advantage of the delay in start of the match due to rain, sang a birthday greeting song for the Pakistani star.
