Mark Wood has been sidelined for the remainder of England's series against Sri Lanka due to a muscle strain sustained during the first Test. The injury occurred late on day three, and subsequent scans confirmed his unavailability for the final two Tests.
Josh Hull has been called up to replace Wood. Standing at 6ft 7ins, Hull has played in 10 first-class matches and recently took five wickets for the England Lions in their tour game against Sri Lanka earlier this month.

Olly Stone, who was part of the squad for the first Test at Old Trafford, is expected to fill Wood's spot in the playing XI at Lord's. The second Test is set to begin on Thursday.
This summer, Wood has impressed on the international stage, claiming 11 wickets in three Tests. He also contributed with some notable performances with the bat.
The England team hopes that Wood will recover in time for their Test tour of Pakistan in October. They are also optimistic about having captain Ben Stokes and Zak Crawley back from their respective injuries by then.
Welcome, Josh Hull! Get well soon, Woody #ENGvSL #EnglandCricket
