Mayank Agarwal has given his own health update on social media on Wednesday (January 31).
The player drank a potentially poisonous substance en route on his flight to Surat from Agartala on Tuesday and was subsequently admitted to a hospital after complaining of a burning sensation in his mouth and throat.

But the player is currently stable and has posted his photos on social media, saying he is fine and recovering. Agarwal is expected to be under the supervision of doctors and is set to miss Karnataka's next Ranji match against Railways.
"I am feeling better now. Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone," Agarwal wrote on X.
Agarwal was said to be stable by the ILS Hospitals in Agartala, when they released a statement on Tuesday. According to reports, the player has also filed a police report against the incident.
After boarding the flight from Agartala to Surat, Mayank Agarwal drank some water from a bottle situated near the flight desk. Soon after that, the player started to feel a burning sensation in his mouth radiating to the throat region.
The discomfort was so severe that he had to be taken to a medical facility directly from the flight. It was initially feared that the substance he consumed could have been contaminated with a toxic agent, sparking concerns about the player's safety and well-being.
