MyKhel can confirm that the player is currently admitted to the ILS Hospital in Agartala and is being treated.

What Happened to Mayank Agarwal?

After boarding the flight, Mayank Agarwal drank some water from a bottle situated near the flight desk. Soon after that, the player started to feel a burning sensation in his mouth radiating to the throat region.

The discomfort was so severe that he had to be taken to a medical facility directly from the flight. It was initially feared that the substance he consumed could have been contaminated with a toxic agent, sparking concerns about the player's safety and well-being.

Immediate Hospitalization and Current Condition

Agarwal was admitted to ILS Hospitals in Agartala, where he received prompt medical care. Although the hospital management has kept details of his health confidential, sources indicate that the cricketer is now stable and out of imminent danger.

The player will undergo some tests as he vomited and feels uneasy following the incident. He is likely to remain in ICU and is under the supervision of top medical personnel at the hospital.

Mayank Agarwal was going to Surat to play the next Ranji match, but will not take any part in the match now. The Indian player may well be released after a couple of days and is expected to make a full recovery.
