India A, who were led by Mayank Agarwal after their first match, won the Duleep Trophy 2024 after beating Ruturaj Gaikwad-led India C by 257 runs in Anantapur.
India C finished at the second spot in the four-team competition which featured several India internationals this season. While India A had 12 points after the end of the third and final round match, India C settled with nine points.

Chasing a 350-run target, India C were bundled out for 217. India A pacers Prasidh Krishna and spinner Tanush Kotian picked three wickets each, while 20-year-old speedster Aaqib Khan also chipped in with two wickets.
India C started off the run-chase strongly but lost the plot after the departure of Gaikwad, who scored 44 runs off 93 balls. Sai Sudharsan fought a lone battle and scored 111 runs off 206 balls.
Shashwat Rawat scored a first innings hundred for India A, while Riyan Parag scored 73 off 101 balls for the team in the second innings. In response to India A's 297 in the first innings, India C got all-out for 234, courtesy three wickets each from Avesh Khan and Aaqib.
At the Rural Development Trust Stadium B in Anantapur, Shreyas Iyer's India D ended their campaign with a win over India B. However, they finished last with six points. The side lost their first two matches.
Chasing a massive 373-run target, India B were bundled out for 115 in 22.2 overs after a six-wicket haul from pacer Arshdeep Singh. Aditya Thakre, the only other bowler used by India A, picked four wickets for 59 runs in 11 overs.
The likes of Ricky Bhui, Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, Shreyas Iyer, and left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar also starred for India D in the match. Bhui hit a fifty in the first innings and a hundred in the second innings, Samson smashed a first innings hundred while Padikkal and Iyer slammed a fifty each.
