MI Cape Town SA20 2024 Squad: The 2nd edition of the SA20 starts from January, 2024 and MI Cape Town will be aiming for a much better campaign.

MI Cape Town are owned by Reliance, and are the sister team of IPL giants Mumbai Indians. Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan all-rounder, captained them in the inaugural edition in 2023, and is likely to lead them in the upcoming season as well.

MI Cape Town SA20 Key Players

Apart from Rashid Khan, there are some big names in the squad. England batter Tom Banton and all-rounder Sam Curran are in the Cape Town team as well. Liam Livingstone, Jofra Archer are also a part of MICT for the 2024 edition.

West Indies legend Kieron Pollard will join the team for the first three matches of SA20. The Caribbean gladiator can only take part in three matches for his other commitments but his presence even for the three matches can be a boost for MICT. In these three matches, Pollard will replace Rashid Khan as the captain of MI Cape Town.

Among the local players, Kagiso Rabada will spearhead the pace attack of MI Cape Town, whereas Rassie van der Dussen, Beuran Hendricks are also going to play a key part for them this season.

Out of their seven overseas stars, only captain Rashid Khan is a non-English player.
