MLC Winners And Runners List: MI New York secured their second Major League Cricket (MLC) title after edging out Washington Freedom by five runs in a thrilling final at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Monday, July 14, 2025.

This victory makes MI New York the first franchise to win the MLC trophy twice, following their maiden triumph in the inaugural 2023 edition.

After being put in to bat, MI New York posted a competitive 180 for 7 in their 20 overs. Quinton de Kock was the standout performer, smashing 77 off just 46 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes. He received good support from Monank Patel (28) and Kunwarjeet Singh, who played a handy cameo of 22* off 13 balls at the death. Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the bowlers for Washington Freedom, finishing with figures of 3 for 21.
