MI vs CSK: Shivam Dube continued his red hot form in the IPL 2024 by hammering a 28-ball fifty against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (April 14).
Shivam Dube, who is being touted to feature in India's T20 World Cup squad, displayed a different level of power-hitting as the fans went berserk in and outside the hallowed stadium. The 30-year-old blasted seven boundaries and two sixes en route to his second fifty of the ongoing IPL 2024.

The 30-year-old smashed three fours in the tenth over which was bowled by Hardik Pandya. He hit two boundaries in the following over from Romario Shepherd, before tearing apart the West Indies all-rounder completely in the 14th over.
The first delivery of the over was played for a single by CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, before Shvam Dube hammered back-to-back sixes on the second and the third delivery, and then hitting a four on the fourth. He capped off the over with another four through backward point.
Shivam Dube has been in top form since the start of the tournament. He scored unbeaten 34 in the opening match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), 51 against Gujarat Titans (GT), 18 vs Delhi Capitals (DC), 45 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and another 28 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Shivam Dube finished on unbeaten 66 off 38 balls. He hit a total of 10 fours and two sixes. MS Dhoni walked in with four balls left, and scored three consecutive sixes and a double to help CSK post a 207-run target for Mumbai Indians.
