Delhi Capitals (DC) could be without three of their star players when they face five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 20 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (April 7).
Indian players Mukesh Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav have already missed games due to injury or niggles in the past four matches for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing season, while Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has also joined them on the treatment table in DC.

All three players if fit will be immediate picks in the Delhi Capitals team, but their unavalibilty comes as a huge blow in the team's quest to improve their position on the points table, having won one and lost three matches so far this season.
DC suffered back to back defeats to Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals in away matches but pulled one back with a victory over Chennai Super Kings at their adopted home in Vizag, where they once again went down to Kolkata Knight Riders in the recent match.
Rishabh Pant-led side may have had the best chance to add another win against a Mumbai Indians teams low on confidence, but the fitness concerns may have dented their hopes of handing MI their fourth defeat of the season.
But if at least two of three in doubt make the playing 11 for today's match, DC could be a tough side to beat as all three players are match-winners on their day. So, is there any chance for either of them to feature in MI vs DC IPL 2024 Match 20?
While Mukesh and Kuldeep face fitness tests, Marsh is definitely ruled out of the match as confirmed by DC director of cricket Sourav Ganguly, who confirmed that the Australian all-rounder will miss the game.
Ganguly also revealed that Kuldeep will face a fitness test, but there was no news about Mukesh's fitness and availabilty. Both Kuldeep and Mukesh were seen linking up with players from the Mumbai Indians camp on the eve of the match, but did not train.
Marsh's compatriot Jake Fraser-McGurk, who was signed in as a replacement for Lungisani Ngidi, could make his IPL debut in place of the potential Australian T20 World Cup 2024 captain.
DC could also had a debut to Kumar Kushagra, who was a Rs 7.2 crore acquisition at the auction last year in August. Ganguly hinted DC will look to add Kushagra in the team like how Chennai Super Kings have blooded in Sameer Rizvi.
"We are looking to give him an opportunity. Chennai have created a slot for Rizvi, we are also trying to do the same with Kumar Kushagra," Ganguly said at the pre-match conference.
DC have already played games without the duo. Rasikh Dhar, Sumit Kumar and Ishant Sharma have been used as cover in the two positions in the bowling attack that also includes Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel and Khaleel Ahmed.
