MI vs GT Playing XI: In a thrilling encounter at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians will take on 2022 title winners Gujarat Titans, with both teams battling for a top-two spot in the standings.
Mumbai is on a roll, having won six consecutive matches, including three wins while defending and three while chasing totals. Currently in third place, MI are making a strong comeback this season and are in contention to break their five-year title drought.

Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, are also looking to clinch their second IPL title and have been in solid form this year. Their recent 38-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad further solidified their momentum.
In their previous encounter in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Titans emerged victorious by 36 runs, with standout performances from Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna.
There are no injury concerns within the Mumbai Indians camp, confirmed Mahela Jayawardene. Mitchell Santner, who has missed the previous few matches, is now available for selection. Similarly, there are no injury issues in the Gujarat Titans camp, and all players, including Kagiso Rabada, are fit and available for selection.
Mumbai Indians are well aware that the majority of Gujarat Titans' runs come from their top three-Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler-who also face a large portion of the deliveries, nearly 75%. To counter this, MI is likely to deploy their key pacers-Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, and Deepak Chahar-to target these top-order batters early, with the aim of exploiting the relatively inexperienced GT middle order.
On the other hand, Kagiso Rabada has a strong record against Mumbai's key batsmen-Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Harry Brook-having dismissed the first two four times each, Hardik three times, and Brook twice.
