Mumbai Indians will look to avenge reverse fixture loss when they face Gujarat Titans in match 57 of the IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday (May 12), with the game scheduled to start at 7:30 PM IST.
MI led by Rohit Sharma will look to continue their winning run to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the playoffs, while table-toppers GT led by Hardik Pandya will look to make it three wins on the trot and seal a top four spot.

MI, who opened their campaign with back-to-back defeats, responded with three successive wins before going on another two-match match losing streak. The record champions, however, have since three of four matches with their most recent victory coming over Royal Challengers Bangalore.
GT, on the other hand, opened their season with two successive wins followed by a defeat, but have since won 6 of 8 matches including a victory over MI and their most recent result being a thumping win over Lucknow Super Giants.

They will now clash for the first time at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, where several players including MI star all-rounder Andre Russell and GT skipper Sanju Samson, have a chance to reach milestones or break records.
