MI vs KKR IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 51 of IPL 2024 on Friday (May 3) at the Wankhede Stadium.
MI are struggling in the IPL 2024 so far and are in need of a victory desperately to keep their playoff hopes alive. Amid the do-or-die situation, an encounter against KKR can be a welcoming one. Although KKR are flying this season, MI have a superb record over the Knights in IPL.

Rohit Sharma has been the architect of many victories for Mumbai over the years. The 37-year-old is having a moderate season in the IPL. He has scored 315 runs so far with an average of 35 and a strike rate of 158. Sharma also scored a century against Chennai Super Kings this season.
But Rohit's form has dipped recently as the MI batter has only scored 18 runs in his last three IPL innings. But an opportunity to resurrect the mini blip as he takes on KKR on Friday, perhaps his most favourite opposition in the IPL.
Rohit Sharma has played for two teams in the IPL. His initial days were representing Deccan Chargers but the majority of his knocks have come in Mumbai Indians colours.
Over the years, Rohit has played 32 matches and has scored 1040 runs at an average of 41 and a strike rate of 130. Rohit has six fifties and one hundred to his name against the Knight Riders, with the highest score being 109.
But just like his recent IPL 2024 form, Rohit's recent record against KKR also needs an uplift as the MI star has only scored 25 runs in his last three innings against the KKR side.
