MI vs KOL Dream11 prediction, IPL 2023: Fantasy Suggestions, Captain and Vice Captain, Impact Sub Options

MI vs KOL Dream11 prediction: Mumbai Indians will host Kolkata Knight Riders for match No. 22 of the IPL 2023 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. The match will start at 3:30 PM IST and will be the first of the weekend's doubleheader.

Mumbai Indians finally won their first game of the season by defeating Delhi Capitals. The victory came after lopsided losses to Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. KKR, on the other hand, lost their last game to Sunrisers Hyderabad at home last Friday after consecutive wins. As far as head-to-head is concerned, MI have a massive 22-9 lead but KKR won three of the last four encounters between the sides.

MI vs KOL injury update

MI Injury update Suryakumar Yadav was hit in the eye in the last game while fielding but came out to bat later on and was dismissed off the first delivery. No update on Jofra Archer's injury.

Key players Rohit Sharma returned to form with a half-century while Tilak Varma has been scoring runs consistently. Ishan Kishan has been getting back to his best too with 30-odd knocks in the last two innings. Left-arm pacer Jason Behrendorff bowled 3/23 in the last game while Riley Meredith picked two wickets in the first appearance of the season. Piyush Chawla has been consistently picking wickets among spinners.

Out of form Suryakumar Yadav is struggling to get going in 2023 while Arshad Khan has had a tough time while Cameron Green is having a below-average IPL for his hefty price tag.

KOL injury update Andre Russell had injury trouble while bowling but came out to bat later on. It remains to be seen if KKR will like to risk him. Namibian David Wiese is the backup for the West Indies all-rounder.

Key players Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh are consistently scoring runs when KKR top order has failed to click. Venkatesh Iyer scored 83 against Gujarat Titans but his lack of footwork is often exploited by rivals. Andre Russell has failed to click with the bat but was the side's best bowler in the last game with three wickets.

Out of form Rahmanullah Gurbaz is struggling to score runs at the top while being tasked with providing explosive starts and may be replaced with Litton Das. The Bangladeshi has scored runs in bulk for Bangladesh this year. Shardul Thakur is going for runs with the ball but has played crucial knocks with the bat. The vice versa is true about Russell, whose bat hasn't fired runs at all.
