A magical night at the Wankhede Stadium saw Mumbai Indians bulldoze past Royal Challengers Bangalore to rack up a monumental victory in the IPL 2023 on Tuesday (May 9).
Chasing 200, MI won the match by 6 wickets with 21 balls to spare and Suryakumar Yadav was the main architect of their paramount run chase. A brilliant 83 off just 35 balls was the driving factor behind the Paltans' sixth victory of the season.

But after the match during the awards ceremony, Suryakumar Yadav was awarded the Rupay on the Go 4s award, which has raised some confusion.
Rupay On The Go 4s award is one which is given to the player who hits the most number of fours in the match.
SKY was given the award, but a section of fans raised that RCB batter Glenn Maxwell must have received that. And as a matter of fact, the MI batter hit 7 boundaries, while Maxwell hit 8 boundaries in the match.
But why was Suryakumar Yadav awarded then? Well, it has still remained a confusion. After the match, SKY was captured with all of his awards and the Rupay 4s memento was also visible.

It is quite evident that the IPL award jury or listers made a glaring mistake on Tuesday. The award was given to SKY, but the Australian batter must have received it.
It is unknown whether Maxwell will be returned his rightful award later, but the mistake made by IPL can't be overlooked here.
Suryakumar Yadav received four other awards in the match, but this one belongs to Maxwell.
