MI vs RCB IPL 2024: Four Batters Who Can Score Most Runs in Match 25

MI vs RCB: Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Match 25 of IPL 2024. The game will get underway at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 11, Thursday at 7:30 PM (IST).

Hardik Pandya and Co. are in a real spot of bother as they lost a hat-trick of games this season. The five-time IPL champions finally opened their account with a win over Delhi Capitals and are currently placed eighth on the points table.

MI collected two points with an NRR of -0.704. On the other end of the spectrum, RCB are also in a troublesome situation. They are placed ninth on the points table with 2 points with an NRR of -0.843. It remains to be seen which team uses their resources properly to come out on top in the game. Let's take a look at the four batsmen who can muster the most runs in Match 25 of the tournament.

1. Rohit Sharma: The experienced campaigner played superbly well in the last game wherein he scored 49 off 27 balls, laced with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Former MI captain Rohit Sharma is expected to dominate the proceedings with the bat against RCB. In the 31 innings, he scored 793 runs against RCB including seven fifties at an impressive strike rate of 135.32.

2. Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli has been the standout performer for RCB in the ongoing season. He is currently the leading run-getter in the IPL with 316 runs in five games at an average of 105.33 including two fifties. Overall, he has amassed 852 runs in 32 games against MI, including two fifties at a batting strike rate of 128.12.

3. Suryakumar Yadav: Suryakumar Yadav's comeback was not pleasing as he was dismissed for a duck against DC in the last game in Mumbai. Despite an unspirited dismissal, he will be looking to open his account this season by putting in a solid performance with the bat against RCB.

4. Glenn Maxwell: Australian international Glenn Maxwell hasn't quite found his mojo got going. Having played five games so far, he managed to score just 32 runs as he fell prey to cheap scores more often than not. However, he is just one good knock away from getting back to his best and will be hoping to instill his confidence by letting his performance do the talking.
