Royal Challengers Bangalore will aim to complete a double over Mumbai Indians as they take on the Paltans at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday (May 9).
In many ways, this game will play a huge part in the fate of the two teams. Both teams are on 10 points after 11 matches, with RCB (5th) sitting a place ahead of MI (6th) courtesy of a superior Net Run Rate.

The winner of this match will take a significant leap towards the IPL playoffs, whilst the losers will remain in the mud of 10 points with the pack.

MI Team News vs RCB: Mumbai Indians will be looking to pull up their socks and get back to winning ways. They are devoid of injury issues, but need to address their shortcomings.
Captain Rohit Sharma's form has been an issue, while the other big names have failed to live up to the billing. Youngsters Nehal Wadhera, Hrithik Shokeen have done well in patches, while veteran Piyush Chawla has been the lone performer for them with the ball.
MI may well be tempted to make some changes in the upcoming match. Their ploy with Tristan Stubbs didn't work against CSK, and will be interesting to see if they persist with the young South African.
RCB Team News vs MI: RCB have no injury problems but after their crushing defeat against DC, they may well be tempted to tweak a little. Bowling has been an issue for them of late and Faf du Plessis would demand a better performance with the ball.
In terms of team selection, we don't believe too many changes in the RCB lineup. The probable personnel if changed maybe Anuj Rawat making way for someone like Suyash Prabhudessai or Manoj Bhandage.
