Michael Vaughan trolls Pakistan fan for his 'Karma is real post': 'Looking forward to Super 8s, are you ?'

Michael Vaughan brutally trolled a Pakistan cricket team fan for his 'Karma is real' post on X (formerly Twitter). As England's match against Namibia stood a chance of getting abandoned due to rain on Saturday, a Pakistan fan wrote, "Hey, @MichaelVaughan karma is real. #ENGvsNAM."

Notably, Pakistan failed to qualify for the Super 8 round of T20 World Cup 2024 after the USA vs Ireland match in Florida was abandoned due to rain in Florida on Friday.

Pakistan were expecting Ireland to beat the USA before winning their last game against Ireland on Sunday to qualify for the second round of the ongoing ICC showpiece event. The same was the scenario for England.

They had to beat Namibia in their last Group B match, and hope for Australia to beat Scotland on Sunday. England's match against Namibia endured a delayed start but the Three Lions later defeated Namibia by 41 runs (DLS method) in a rain-curtailed 10-over per-side game.

On Monday morning, Australia defeated Scotland after chasing down 181. They were reduced to 60/3 in 8.2 overs before Marcus Stoinis (59 off 29) turned the tables and handed his team their fourth consecutive win.

"Morning Nawaz .. looking forward to the Super 8s .. Are you?" Michael Vaughan wrote replying to the Pakistan fan after England qualified for the Super 8.

Vaughan recently criticised Pakistan team, and also said that England players should not have returned from IPL 2024 to play against Pakistan in a one-side bilateral series ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Pakistan played a 2-2 draw against second-string New Zealand at home before losing a match against Ireland in May. Pakistan also lost their T20 World Cup 2024 against the USA. They will face Ireland in their last Group A match before flying back home.
