ENGvAUS: Australia pacer Mitchell Starc waits in queue outside stadium ahead of Women's Ashes, wins hearts

Australian pacer Mitchell Starc is a lethal bowler who bamboozles opponents with his pace, precession and bounce. And off the field, he is a fantastic human being as well.

He played in the first Test of the ongoing Ashes between England and Australia. Although the pacer won't be that much of a popular figure in England after Australia's victory at Edgbaston, he surely has won hearts with his off-field act on Thursday (June 22).

Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is married to Australian women's team player Alyssa Healy, who is also captaining the Australian women's team for the women's Ashes. The only Test has started on Thursday at Trent Bridge and the pacer was spotted outside the stadium.

It is quite normal for a husband to support his wife in her big moments, but being Healy's husband, Starc would have easily gotten a special pass to enjoy the match. But instead, the Australian pacer was captured outside the stadium in a queue waiting to enter the ground.

A fan captured the left-arm pacer with a blue shirt and jeans standing among all other people and since then it has gone ballistic on social media.

"Mitchell Starc is here of course, waiting in an already crowded queue to get into Trent Bridge for the opening day of the #WAshes Test with Alyssa Healy captaining for the first time," a Twitter post wrote.

Seeing the star bowler with such a down-to-earth mentality, fans have poured love for the Australian pacer on social media.

"Lovely photo. Aussies showing class on and off the pitch," a user wrote. Some other praised the player's humbleness despite winning three ICC trophies in last eight years.
