Bengaluru, February 27: Mithali Raj will lead India in the three-match one-day series against Australia.
The series is a part of the ICC Women's Championship (2017-2020) and all the three matches will be held in Vadodara. Harmanpreet Kaur will be the deputy of Mithali Raj.
The ODI series will be followed by a tri-series but the squad for it will be announced later.
The squad: Mithali Raj (Captain), Harmanpreet Kaur (vice-captain), Smriti Mandhana, Punam Raut, Jemimah Rodrigues, Veda Krishnamurthy, Mona Meshram, Sushma Verma (wicketkeeper), Ekta Bisht, Poonam Yadav, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Shikha Pandey, Sukanya Parida, Pooja Vastrakar, Deepti Sharma.
