Seattle Orcas batter Heinrich Klaasen on Wednesday collected 26 runs from a single over from Rashid Khan - the number one ranked T20I bowler in the world - to hit the first-ever hundred in Major League Cricket (MLC) as his team chased down a 195-run target against Mumbai New York (MINY) with four balls to spare.
On the first ball of the 16th over from Rashid, Klaasen pulled over cow corner for a six before pumping it over long-on for another six on the second delivery. A double on the third ball before a boundary through long-on and mid-wicket followed. On the fifth ball, Klaasen slammed another six over long-on. The mayhem from the hard-hitting South African ended with another double.

Rashid Khan getting such treatment was a rare instance and the clean hitting for Klaasen lit up the Church Street Park in Morrisville. In total, Klaasenm who scored unbeaten 110 runs off 44 balls, blasted four sixes off the star Afghanistan leg-spinner. The whirlwind innings from Klaasen saw him hit nine four and seven sixes.

Imad Wasim and Harmeet Singh picked two wickets apiece for Seattle. Despite the loss, MI New York qualified for the playoffs.
