MLC 2024 Commentators List: Who is Doing Commentary in Major League Cricket Season 2?

Major League Cricket (MLC), America's own T20 league, will kick start it's second season following on from a successful first season with an all-star commentary panel set to call the game from July 5.

The opening match is on Friday, July 5th, with a Championship rematch between 2023 inaugural winners MI New York and the Seattle Orcas in Morrisville, NC. It will be followed by the Texas Super Kings vs. LA Knight Riders at Grand Prairie Stadium, TX, later that evening.

MLC's second season features an all-star lineup of announcers, including some of the very familiar voices in the sport from across the world doing commentary over the next two weeks in Dallas and Morrisville.

The star-studded commentary panel includes legendary names as well as some of yesteryear stars who turned to the profession in recent years following their retirement from the sport. The broadcast of the Major League Cricket will be spread across the world this year.

While Willow by CricBuzz will take care of coverage in the United States and Canada, MLC has also confirmed this season's international broadcast schedule for India, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

Who is doing commentary in Major League Cricket Season 2?

The announcers list for MLC includes, the former captain of the Indian national cricket team and great batsman Sunil Gavaskar, Pakistani legendary bowler Wasim Akram, former New Zealand and Auckland cricketer Danny Morrison, and Australian commentator Mike Haysman.

The English commentary panel will also feature former West Indies star Daren Ganga, Zimbabwe pacer Pommie Mbangwa, Australian opener Matthew Hayden, South African all-rounder Chris Morris, New Zealand all rounder Scott Styris and former women's cricketer Natalie Germanos.

In addition to the on-air team, MLC also has on board emerging broadcasters Nikhil Uttamchandani, Aaman Patel, and Andrew Leonard (associate cricket expert), who will announce matches throughout the season as part of MLC's commitment to supporting the development of cricket talent in the United States.
