MLC 2024 Schedule: Complete List of Matches, Venues, Playoff Details

The Major League Cricket (MLC) announced the fixtures for its second edition, which is set to commence from July 5.

The league has expanded this season, adding six more league matches to meet the growing demand, with the four-game playoff series to be held at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas.

The season opener will see reigning champions MI New York, with star player Kieron Pollard, go against the Seattle Orcas, featuring Wayne Parnell and Quinton de Kock, in Morrisville. Following this, the Texas Super Kings and LA Knight Riders will face off in Grand Prairie.

The weekend continues with matches between Washington Freedom and MI New York, and San Francisco Unicorns and LA Knight Riders. The league has attracted significant talent, including Andre Russell, Trent Boult, Nicholas Pooran, and Rashid Khan, and coaching from cricket legends like Ricky Ponting, Shane Watson, and Stephen Fleming.

Vijay Srinivasan, CEO of Cognizant Major League Cricket, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, highlighting the league's commitment to enhancing the cricket experience in the US. The league aims to build on the success of its first season by promoting cricket through high-quality matches and supporting the development of local cricket communities.

MLC 2024 Venues

MLC 2024 will be played in two venues - Church Street Park in Morrisville, and Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. These venues are set to co-host the 2024 tournament.

Like the inaugural season, the MLC 2024 will see Six teams in participation - MI New York, Texas Super Kings, LA Knight Riders, Seattle Orcas, Washington Freedom and San Francisco Unicorns.
