London, Aug 7: Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali has lauded Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj for his remarkable performance in the recently concluded Test series against England.
Speaking during a visit to the London office of leading property developer GFS Developments, Moeen called Siraj a "genuine match-winner" and one of the best bowlers in world cricket today.

“Siraj has been outstanding in the England series. The energy, aggression, and consistency he brings with the ball is world-class. He’s matured into a genuine match-winner for India, and it’s always a challenge for batsmen facing him,” Moeen stated.
The 36-year-old, who has now retired from international cricket, added, “What impresses me most is his ability to control the ball. He’s got a big heart and never backs down — that’s what makes him so special. Credit to him for the impact he’s making.”
Siraj played all five Tests in the England series and emerged as the highest wicket-taker, finishing with 23 wickets. His consistency and leadership of the pace attack played a pivotal role in India’s series victory.
Moeen, who currently resides in Dubai, shared his admiration for the city during his visit to GFS Developments. “Dubai is one of the safest places on Earth. The lifestyle, infrastructure, and security make it an ideal home for anyone, especially athletes like me,” Moeen said while enquiring about property investments in the city.
He has been a familiar face in Dubai's cricket circuit in recent years, participating in franchise-based leagues and recently starring in the World Champions of Legends (WCL) tournament.
Mr. Irfan Wahid, CEO of GFS Developments, expressed his excitement over Moeen's visit, saying, “Moeen was a great cricketer and did well in the recent WCL tournament. It was a pleasure to welcome him to our London office. He’s not only a world-class sportsman but also a thoughtful individual. We’re excited to assist him in finding a property that reflects his taste and values.”
Moeen Ali, who played for the England Champions in the World Champions of Legends tournament, is expected to feature in an upcoming T20 event in the UAE. His transition from international cricket to global leagues has been smooth, as he continues to display his all-round abilities while also pursuing personal ventures off the field.
