Pakistan Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant knock against Ireland in the 2nd T20I on Sunday (May 12).
The wicketkeeper-batter scored a sublime 75 off just 46 balls to restore parity for Pakistan in the T20I series. For his scintillating knock, Rizwan was also awarded as the Player of the Match.

Rizwan receiving the Player of the Match award took him to a new summit as the 31-year-old has the most number of Player of the Match (POTM) awards for Pakistan in T20Is.
With 12 awards in 95 matches, Rizwan now sits on top of the list for Pakistan, surpassing Shadab Khan, Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez - who all have won the award 11 times.
In World Cricket, India's modern-day maverick Virat Kohli has won the most number of Player of the Match awards. The batting sensation has 15 POTM awards in 117 matches for India. Closely 2nd to his list is Suryakumar Yadav, who has 14 awards in just 60 matches, which is the best conversion rate for any player in this format.
Apart from Surya, Malaysia's Virandeep Singh, Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza and Afghanistan's stalwart Mohammd Nabi have 14 POTM awards to their name. India captain Rohit Sharma sits 3rd in the list with 13 awards in 151 matches.
