The saga between Mohammed Shami and his former wife Haseen Jahan, has taken another vile turn as the latter has taken fresh hits at the India pacer on social media.
On Saturday (July 5), days after the Kolkata High Court's order on monthly maintenance, Haseen took a fresh dig at Shami, calling him names on social media.

The Calcutta High Court directed Shami to pay a total of Rs 4 lakh per month in maintenance- Rs 1.5 lakh for Jahan and Rs 2.5 lakh for their daughter Aaira. This marks a notable increase from the earlier combined figure of Rs 1.3 lakh.
The origins of the dispute trace back to 2018, when Jahan, a former model, accused Shami of domestic abuse and marital infidelity. Their marriage, which began in 2014, deteriorated swiftly, leading to a prolonged and bitter legal standoff.
Jahan had recently returned to court to appeal against the previously sanctioned maintenance, arguing that it was insufficient. The High Court upheld her plea, granting her a higher monthly sum. However, it was what followed the ruling that caught widespread attention.
In a fiery Instagram post on July 4, Haseen Jahan leveled severe accusations against Shami. She claimed the fast bowler had consistently sought to undermine and endanger her, alleging that he had paid criminals to "harass, defame, and harm" her over the past seven years.
Further intensifying her claims, Jahan accused Shami of misusing his wealth, alleging that instead of focusing on his daughter's future, he squandered money on "prostitutes and crooks." She did not mince words, branding him "characterless, greedy, and mean-minded," and blamed him for destroying their family through selfish decisions.
Mohammed Shami currently remains out of the Indian side due to lack of fitness and the SRH pacer is preparing to make himself available for the upcoming assignments with the national team.
