Morne Morkel spent a considerable amount of time with all-rounder Hardik Pandya during India's first net session in Gwalior ahead of the first T20I against Bangladesh on October 6.
The newly-appointed bowling coach of the senior India men's cricket team seemed unhappy with Hardik bowling close to the stumps. As per a report in The Indian Express, the former South Africa quick had plenty of suggestions and feedback every time Hardik went back to his bowling mark.

Morkel also discussed the release point of Hardik Pandya, and shifted his focus towards Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav only after getting a nod from the former T20I captain of India.
Hardik Pandya is returning to action for the first time after the T20I series against Sri Lanka in July end. The 30-year-old kicked off his preparations weeks before the T20I squad led by Suryakumar Yadav assembled together.
He also posted videos and pictures of him bowling with the red ball, triggering speculations of a Test comeback. Notably, Hardik Pandya last played a Test match for India back in September 2018. He has kept himself away from the longest format of the game due to fitness concerns.
The Mumbai Indians captain starred in India's T20 World Cup 2024 win earlier this year. He bowled the last over in the final as South Africa and defended 16 runs to end India's 13-year wait for a world cup trophy.
He was the vice-captain of India in the ICC showpiece event, but later after the retirement of Rohit Sharma from the format, Suryakumar Yadav was given the baton ahead of Hardik Pandya.
