However, Tilak Varma anchored the innings with a composed, unbeaten 72 off 55 balls, showcasing his maturity under pressure. Washington Sundar provided vital support with 26 off 19 balls, forming a crucial partnership with Varma. Despite some nervy moments, India successfully chased down the target in 19.2 overs.

Carse also shone with the ball for England, finishing with impressive figures of 3/29 in four overs. However, his all-round brilliance wasn't enough to prevent India from sealing a hard-fought win and taking a firm grip on the series.
