Lumbini Lions skipper Rohit Kumar Paudel had held the lead on top of the list for players with most runs in Nepal Premier League 2024, but his tally was eclipsed by Chitwan Rhinos batter Ravi Bopara in the latter stages of the tournament.
Bopara had held the lead until the final. However, he was toppled from the pole position by Janakpur Bolts batter Lahiru Milantha, who scored a match-winning knock in the title clash to go top of the standings.

The leaderboard could have changed a lot during the final when Janakpur Bolts' James Neesham was also in action against Sudurpaschim Royals. The Royals trio of Dipendra Singh Airee, Saif Zaib and Binod Bhandari also made some strides on Saturday (December 21).
The lone centurion in the inaugural edition of Nepal Premier League, Andries Gous of Pokhara Avengers also feature in the top 10 leading run-scorers chart. Here is a look at the leaderboard for most runs in NPL Season 1:
