KKR’s Sunil Narine, the second highest six hitter this season, smashed 6 maximums en route to his maiden century that went in vain after Jos Buttler scored his seventh hundred in IPL, smashing an unbeaten 107 off 60 balls in a knock that included 6 sixes.

The ongoing season has close to 550 sixes being struck in just 31 matches, projecting to a possible breach in the total sixes for an IPL season. The record stands at 1124 sixes in a 74-game season from last year. Buttler also climbed up the list for most sixes in IPL.
