Most sixes in IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad batting star Abhishek Sharma finished the IPL 2024 season with most number of sixes. The southpaw sent the ball flying over the boundary ropes 42 times in 16 matches. His SRH teammate Heinrich Klaasen and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli finished second with 38 sixes each.
Virat Kohli played a match less than Abhishek and Klaasen, who featured in the IPL 2024 final between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, May 26. However, the SRH duo did not hit a single six in the summit clash.

Virat Kohli (741), who won the IPL 2024 Orange Cap, smashed 38 sixes in 15 matches. Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) Nicholas Pooran finished third on the list of most individual sixes in the IPL 2024. The West Indies batter hit 36 maximums in 14 matches, and is followed by RCB's Rajat Patidar and Rajasthan Royals' (RR) Riyan Parag - 33 sixes each.
KKR's Sunil Narine and SRH's Travis Head are also in the list with 32 sixes each. Delhi Capitals' Jake-Fraser McGurk, and CSK's Shivam Dube also finished their campaigns with 28 sixes each.
Abhishek Sharma joined an elite list of cricketers who smashed most sixes in previous IPL editions. Former RCB and West Indies great Chris Gayle has topped the list in four seasons. Robin Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul are among the Indian cricketers who finished an IPL season with most sixes previously.
