Most Sixes in T20 Cricket: Rohit Sharma Crosses 500 Sixes With Unbeaten Century in IPL 2024

Mumbai Indians and Indian star batter Rohit Sharma is a monster when it comes to sixes in any format of the game. The Indian skipper achieved yet another milestone in terms of maximums during IPL 2024.

During his unbeaten century in the IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday (April 14), Rohit crossed 500 sixes in the shortest format, joining four other batters in the elusive club and becoming the first Indian to achieve the feat.

The Indian skipper smashed five maximums in Mumbai Indians' 20-run defeat to CSK at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as he crossed yet another sixes milestone in the game.

Rohit is only behind the likes of Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell and Colin Munro in the list for most sixes in T20 cricket. Here is a look at the top 5 batters with most maximums in the shortest format:

In IPL, the 36-year-old, who has amassed 6472 runs in 249 matches, is second highest six-hitter behind Gayle. The West Indian great has smased over 350 sixes in the lucrative league. On the international circuit, however, Rohit leads the list.
