India captain Rohit Sharma has become the first player to hit 200 sixes in T20I cricket during his blitzkrieg against Australia.
Rohit Sharma came out all guns blazing in the Super Eight match against Australia. He took apart the Aussie bowling in the powerplay and has been batting in immense fashion.

The 37-year-old has already hit 8 sixes and managed to hit four of the maximums in a single Mitchell Starc over. He went over the covers for the first two sixes, and then connected one with all of his class in the deep mid-wicket direction.
With his 5th six, Rohit Sharma has now become the first batter to hit 200 sixes in T20I cricket. He has now 203 sixes in T20I matches, which has come in 149 innings.
Rohit Sharma has hit sixes against 17 teams in T20I cricket over the years. The Indian stalwart hit his first six against South Africa in 2007 and has continued to become a mainstay of Indian cricket over the years.
