Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill hit four sixes each as they smashed hundreds in the second innings of the first Test against Bangladesh in MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Rishabh Pant was playing in his first Test of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 season, but had maximum impact during his breezy knock. The audacity of one-handed six once again left everyone in awe. He also lifted a delivery from pacer Hasan Mahmud straight over fine leg in the most unorthodox fashion to stun everyone once again.

Shubman Gill also scored an unbeaten hundred and climbed to joint third-highest in the list of batters with most sixes in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle.
A total of three Indian players feature in the top five list of batters with most sixes in WTC 2023-25 cycle. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is leading the list and is followed by England captain Ben Stokes, Gill, Sri Lanka Kusal Mendis, and India captain Rohit Sharma.
Among Pakistan batters, Mohammed Rizwan has the most sixes in WTC 2023-25. The right-hander has hit eight sixes in five Test matches. Australia's Travis Head also has eight maximums from 12 outings. England batting mainstay Joe Root has also hit eight sixes in 16 matches during the period. Virat Kohli has hit just two sixes in five Test matches, and would hope to climb up in the next nine Tests.
