Most wickets in first over of IPL: Trent Boult extended his record for most wickets in the first over of an Indian Premier League innings by adding another opening over scalp in Monday's IPL 2025 clash between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Boult, who surpassed the torchbearer Bhuvneshwar Kumar to feat in the last season, continued his form of striking in the first over of an IPL innings by castling KKR all-rounder Sunil Narine for a duck in the fourth delivery of the start of his spell at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Boult tops the chart for most wickets in the first over with 30 wickets, extending his advantage over India pacer Bhuvneshwar, who has 27 wickets in the first over of IPL matches.
