Former Pakistan cricketer and Chitwan Rhinos pacer Sohail Tanvir, who took the first five-wicket haul of the tournament, had occupied the top spot on the leaderboard for players with most wickets in Nepal Premier League 2024.
However, the veteran's tally was surpassed by two bowlers – Sudurpaschim Royals pacer Scott Kuggeleijn and Janakpur Bolts spinner Lalit Rajbanshi, who both sit on 17 wickets after their battle for the crown in the title clash on Saturday (December 21).

Janakpur Bolts duo Harsh Thaker and Kishore Mahato along with Sudurpaschim Royals stars Dipendra Singh Airee, Saif Zaib and Harmeet Singh also made strides during the Nepal Premier League finale.
Kathmandu Gurkhas pair Karan KC and Janakpur Bolts' Mohammed Mohsin as well as Rijin Dhakal of Rhinos also feature in the top 10 leading wicket-takers chart of NPL Season 1. Here is a look at the current leaderboard for most wickets in Nepal Premier League 2024:
