Most Wins Against a Team in IPL Since 2022: GT Share Top Spot With 2 More Teams After Victory Over RR

Gujarat Titans moved to the top spot for most wins against a single team in the Indian Premier League since they made their debut in 2022 following a victory over Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 on Wednesday (April 9).

Shubman Gill's GT registered their sixth win against RR when the two sides locked horns at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to go level with two other teams for most wins against a team in IPL since 2022.

GT record sixth win in 7 encounters against RR in IPL

GT's first win over RR came back in the 2022 season, when they won all three meetings including the final at the same venue in Ahmedabad. Since then, RR has only managed to beat GT once in the 2023 league stage on their visit to the then defending champions' home ground.

The Titans responded by beating the Royals in their own backyard in the reverse fixture before making it two in two on their visits to the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in the solitary meeting in 2024.

Before GT recorded their sixth win against RR, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants also recorded the same number of wins since 2022 against a single opponent in IPL earlier this season. While KKR got the better of Sunrisers Hyderabad, LSG has the number on Mumbai Indians.
