MS Dhoni had many rumoured relationships before his marriage. The former India captain's first lady love was Priyanka Jha, while Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Asin were also linked with a relationship with him.

Priyanka Jha

MS Dhoni's first girlfriend was Priyanka Jha. Their relationship started in 2002 when the Indian player was still trying to establish himself as an Indian player. The pair were in love and they were determined to spend their life together.

But it ended in a tragic way for MS Dhoni and Priyanka as the latter's accident changed the life of Dhoni and majorly impacted their relationship.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone, the glamour queen of Bollywood was also linked with Dhoni. MS Dhoni himself was an admirer of Deepika and even requested Shah Rukh Khan for a special screening of Om Shanti Om, the debut film of Deepika.

It is also said Dhoni cut his long hair after Deepika told him to do so, and the actress was also spotted in some of Dhoni's matches. But it didn't go far and they moved on.

Preeti Simoes

Dhoni and Preeti Simoes were also rumoured to be together. Simoes, who is a TV actor, was seen with Dhoni on few occasions, but they ended up parting ways without even making their relationship official.

A beautiful South Indian actress, Rai Laxmi had also created a massive wave in Dhoni'e heart. It all happened in 2009 when the pair were rumoured to be dripping in love, and Raai Laxmi even stated that she would be marrying Dhoni in a blink if he proposes to her.

Asin Lokhandwala

Asin Lokhandwala, aka Asin, who came to prominence with her acting in film Ghajini, also had Dhoni's heart snatched in 2010. Their romantic involvement reportedly emerged while filming for a clothes brand together.

The former India captain was also seen going to Asin's house before an IPL playoff match, further igniting the rumours of the pair involved in a romantic relationship.
