India legend MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi were seen attending to cast their votes in the Jharkhand Assembly Election on Wednesday (Nov 13).
The nation is witnessing elections across many states including the assembly election of Jharkhand.

In the bustling city of Ranchi, former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, alongside his wife Sakshi, made their way to a local polling booth to participate in the Jharkhand Assembly Elections.
The couple was met with an overwhelming reception, as fans and media gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the cricketing legend. Amid the chaos, security personnel struggled to escort the Dhonis through the sea of fans, as 'Dhoni, Dhoni' cheers kept reverberating across the polling centre.
The presence of Dhoni, who has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, sparked even more excitement. Dhoni was serenaded by hundreds of people around the booth but was escorted towards the polling centre.
Despite the hectic environment, Dhoni and Sakshi managed to cast their votes, contributing to the democratic process. The heavy security and large crowd are a testament to Dhoni's popularity and the adoration he commands across the country, which was visible in his hometown quite vividly.
The former India captain was also appointed as the brand ambassador for the elections. The main reason to include Dhoni was to raise awareness about the SWEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) programme. Interestingly, he was wearing the same coloured shirt from the National Assembly Elections back in May this year.
The veteran was recently retained by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 4 crore and he will be wearing the yellow jersey next year. Along with MS Dhoni, CSK have also retained Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja and Sri Lanka pacer Matheesha Pathirana.
