The Indian cricket fans have gone into frenzy mode after witnessing MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli together ahead of India's ODI encounter against South Africa.

The first ODI between the two nations will be played on Sunday (November 30), and team India is already in Ranchi for the match. Virat Kohli came back from London and joined the training in the Jharkhand capital ahead of the match.

MS Dhoni, who resides in Ranchi, often invites players to his house for meet-up whenever the city hosts an international match, and it was the same ahead of this encounter.

MS Dhoni hosted Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rishabh Pant for a private dinner at his Ranchi residence on Thursday (November 27), ahead of India's first ODI against South Africa. Videos and photos of Dhoni personally driving Kohli back to the team hotel in his own car quickly went viral on social media, captivating fans with the display of camaraderie between the two Indian cricket legends.​

Kohli, who recently returned from London, joined the KL Rahul-led squad, which is missing Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer due to injuries. Ruturaj Gaikwad also attended the low-key event at Dhoni's farmhouse, adding to the sense of team unity after India's recent Test series loss to South Africa.​
