Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has lodged a case against two of his former business partners.
The World Cup-winning captain, who is at the twilight of his cricket career but still going strong with CSK in the IPL, has filed the lawsuit against two people who have allegedly duped him crores over a falsified deal.

MS Dhoni has filed a case against two of his former business partners. According to reports, the accused are Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash. The duo are officials of Aarka Sports Management.
Dhoni has filed a case of cheating against them as they took Rs. 15 crore from Dhoni in 2017 in a deal to run a cricket academy globally. The pair were to pay a franchise fee and share the revenue with MS Dhoni as per the agreed terms.
But the complaint is that the two officials never stuck to their deal and instead duped the former Indian captain of that humongous amount of money.
Dhoni's representative Dayanand Singh revealed that repeated reminders and legal notices were sent but the alleged didn't reply, which resulted in Dhoni taking back the authority letter granted to the company.
MS Dhoni will be hoping to turn the years back as he captains Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024. The CSK star led his team to their 5th IPL title in 2023 and will be hoping to replicate the same in the upcoming edition. This upcoming IPL can also be his last as a player as the 42-year-old is poised to call it a day this year.
