Mahendra Singh Dhoni's family made it a day to remember with the humble gesture on a recent flight when they interacted with a family from Bengaluru, who were accompanied by a very young fan - their four-year-old daughter.
Nethra Gowda, the young fan's mother, took to social media to share their delightful experience of meeting the cricket icon and the video post on Instagram has since then going viral.

The awe-struck fan in her post described the moment as a "dream come true" for her husband and also called it the best gift for their young daughter's fourth birthday. In the video, Sakshi is seen interacting with the family, while Ziva and MS Dhoni share a smile.
"Yesss we met MS Dhoni sir by luckily while travelling in flight, but it's a dream come true moment for my husband and we got best gift on my daughter 4th year birthday," the fan said in her post on Instagram.
The fan also was full of praise for Sakshi Dhoni for her humbleness and down to earth personality of the family as the young 4-year-old and her family got a chance to interact with the legend MS Dhoni's family.
"And sakshi mam was so humble she spoke to us like we are close to them. Such a down to earth family.....My daughter was bit scared to go and sit with MS Dhoni sir bcz sir was wearing mask and sakshi mam was like he is very scary n he scares me also so she is not going to him...We r the luckiest and my daughter is so lucky and blessed. thank you @mahi7781 sir," the post further read.
Dhoni recently ended the suspense about his participation in the next edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) after agreeing to be retained by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The veteran wicketkeeper-batter was retained as an uncapped player, allowing the five-time champions to retain Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana and Shivam Dube as capped players before entering the IPL Mega Auction.
