MS Dhoni makes former India star's son 'super happy' after Airport meet - Here's How

Former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif had a sudden encounter with Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni recently.

Mohammed Kaif met the former India captain at an airport and it was a sudden reunion. Both Dhoni and Kaif's families were there and Kaif took to social media and posted some pictures where they could be seen interacting.

In the post, Kaif wished MS Dhoni a speedy recovery from his knee surgery and also elaborated on how the meeting made his son 'super happy'.

"We met the great man and his family at airport today. He was returning home after surgery. Son Kabir super happy as Dhoni told him he too, like him, played football as a kid. Get well soon, see you next season champion," Kaif wrote on his Instagram handle with some pictures.

It is understood that Kaif's son Kabir is more inclined to football and Dhoni also has a massive affinity for the game. During his India days, Dhoni and other team members were often pictured playing football in the training sessions.

The 41-year-old even played a few charity games and also has a stake in ISL club Chennaiyin FC. Dhoni, who recently won the IPL for the 5th time with CSK, underwent knee surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital.

Dhoni flew to Mumbai from Ahmedabad after the final and consulted a renowned orthopaedic and subsequently decided to undergo the surgery, which has further heightened the hopes of him playing in the next edition of IPL in 2024.

Despite a massive speculation of him announcing retirement at the end of this IPL, the CSK captain confirmed he wishes to play at least one more season and thanked the people for their enormous support across the country.
