Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and former US President Donald Trump teed off in a friendly round of golf session in the United States earlier this week with the pictures and video clips circulating on social media on Friday (September 8).
In the viral photographs, the duo can be see sporting golfing attire. Additionally, a video shared on social media showed Dhoni playing golf with Trump just a day after the Chennai Super Kings captain was spotted at the US Open tennis tournament.

The meeting between the two has set social media abuzz with fans reacting to Dhoni and Trump's golf face off in the US as one X, formerly Twitter, user posted the with the caption: "MS Dhoni playing golf with Donald Trump. The craze for Dhoni is huge"
This unexpected meeting of two prominent figures from vastly different worlds was reportedly on the back of an invitation of the former US President, who has often been pictured playing golf. Even Dhoni is no stranger when it comes to golf.
The former India captain has seen playing the sport earlier as well. In 2022, Dhoni was spotted enjoying golf with another World Cup-winning skipper Kapil Dev at the Kapil Dev - Grant Thornton, an invitational tournament organised in Guruguram.
That meeting between the two former cricket captains had also gone viral with Kapil Dev sharing a picture of Dhoni and himself in the golf attire.
But that meeting with Kapil Dev, was not the first time, Dhoni was seen playing golf. In 2019, the 42-year-old, who won captained his team to fifth IPL title, shared a golfing sessions with his former Chennai Super Kings and India teammate Kedar Jadhav.
Like in 2022, when Dhoni and Kapil Dev were at the flushing meadows to see Carlos Alcaraz in action, the former India captain was once again in the crowd to watch the rising Spaniard in action at the Arthur Ashe stadium.
