The 42-year-old holds the record for most dismissals by a wicket-keeper at the T20 World Cups. The former India captain registered 32 dismissals from behind the stumps.

Among the top-five list of wicket-keepers with most dismissals at the T20 World Cup, Quinton de Kock is the only active cricketer. The South Africa, who has retired from Test and ODI cricket, has 22 T20 World Cup dismissals to his name.
Former Pakistan wicket-keeper Karman Akmal is second on the list after MS Dhoni, and is followed by Denesh Ramdin of West Indies and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara.
Dinesh Karthik is the second on the list of India wicket-keepers with most dismissals in the T20 World Cups. Karthik has six dismissals from 10 matches to his name in the tournament. Rishabh Pant has two dismissals in seven matches.
Pant and Sanju Samson have been named in the India squad for the T20 World Cup as the two wicketkeeper-batters. Pakistan have Azam Khan and Mohammad Rizwan as the two wicketkeeper-batsmen in the team.
