Mukesh Kumar from Bihar is making head turns on the West Indies tour with his performances in all the three formats of the game. The Bengal pacer is currently part of the Indian T20I squad which is involved in a 5-match T20I series against West Indies under the leadership of Hardik Pandya.
The 29-year-old picked two wickets in his debut bowling innings for India during the second Test against West Indies in Port of Spain. In the second innings, he bowled four maidens in his five-over spell for five runs before rain interrupted the game.

The right-arm pacer featured in all the three ODIs and picked 4 wickets in 15 overs at an average of 17.25. Mukesh made his T20I debut against West Indies on Thursday. He bowled three overs for 24 runs but failed to take any wicket.
The Delhi Capitals (DC) player has created history on his very first tour of India. He is now only the second cricketer in the history of Indian cricket to make debut in all the three formats of the game on a single tour.
T Natarajan was the first Indian player to achieve the feat during India's 2020-21 tour of Australia. The left-arm pacer from Salem made his ODI and T20I debut first before getting a chance in the final Test of the series due to the long injury list of Indian players on that tour.
Natarajan picked three wickets in the match to play a key role in India's historic win in Brisbane which also ensured India's 2-1 Test series win Down Under. The 32-year-old became a household name.
However, injuries marred his growth as an Indian international player. Till date he has played only one Test, 2 ODIs and 4 ODIs for India. His last game for the Men in Blue came back in March 2021. His performance for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL has also dropped.
Mukesh Kumar has also been picked for India's 3-match T20I series against Ireland later this month. He has been touted by many including Zaheer Khan to serve Indian cricket for the next few years now.
