Shaheen Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars are struggling early in the season as they lost two consecutive matches. Multan Sultans, on the other hand, have won both of their matches so far, played in front of home fans.
Being one of the teams to beat over the previous several seasons, the Multan Sultans appear to be playing well this year as well. However, Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars are still in search of their first victory. following losses to Quetta Gladiators by five wickets in their second encounter and Islamabad United by eight wickets in their first.
Reeza Hendricks, a South African, scored an undefeated 79 runs in 54 balls against the Karachi Kings. On February 18, the British all-rounder David Willey took 2/22, which was crucial for the Sultans. From Multan Sultan's perspective, both of these individuals have the potential to be key contributors.
Sahibzada Farhan is in good shape and has scored many fifty-score goals in his last games. Even if the Lahore team's bowling unit hasn't yet performed, Sikandar Raza's spin showed some promise. Thus, these players have the potential to impact the Lahore Qalandars.
