Delhi Capitals' found their winning combination early on with Lanning and Shafali Verma leading the batting order while the likes of Marizanne Kapp, Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues played the supporting role down the order.

Pace all-rounder Kapp has been influential with the ball as well in a successful new-ball partnership with Shikha Pandey while Jess Jonassen leads the spin department with Capsey and Radha Yadav helping out from the other end. Capsey and Yadav, notably, have found wicket-taking form off late.

For Mumbai Indians, their all-round trio of Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt, and Amelia Kerr has been running the show with 35 wickets among them. Among batters, wicket-keeper/opener Yastika Bhatia and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur have been in form throughout the season but the latter, notably, struggled to score runs in the last two games but has been successful at the final's venue, where she shot back-to-back half centuries.

Pacer Issy Wong, meanwhile, is the star of the moment as she is fresh after a hat-trick against UP Warriorz in the Eliminator and has taken 12 wickets so far this tournament. Other pacers in her support are Pooja Vastrakar and Jintimani Kalita, who have struggled to take wickets.
