IPL 2024 is just around the corner. Mumbai Indians will be hoping to break their hoodoo and conjure up a decent performance in this season.
The five-time IPL champions have built a strong squad and the expectations are high. The Paltans will face Gujarat Titans in their first match on March 24 in Mumbai.

Mumbai Indians, inarguably one the most successful clubs in the history of the IPL, also have tried to maintain a mixture of experienced players and green leaves like all the other teams.
This season Mumbai will have seasoned players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Piyush Chawla, Surya Kumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and others in their arsenal, who have a long exposure to both international cricket and the IPL. Their experience will be conducive to fueling the current young talents of the world crickets like Ishan Kishan, Tilak Verma, Dilshan Madhushanka etc.

Mohammad Nabi (39 y 82 d): Mohammad Nabi is the senior-most member of the squad and still playing and enjoying cricket all year around all over the world. The Afghan may have his opportunities limited but he is a valuable member of the squad.
Rohit Sharma (36 y 328 d): Rohit Sharma is one of the oldest players in the MI squad. Can the India captain fire the Paltans to another IPL glory despite not being the captain anymore? That remains to be seen.

Piyush Chawla (35 y 90 d): This veteran all-rounder has a very long experience in IPL with Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders and still remains a considerable force to reckon with.
Dewald Brevis (20 y 328 d): Dewald Brevis, the South Africa international may not get too many chances to cement his spot in the playing XI due to heavy competition. But Brevis is definitely someone who can be a force for them in the future.
Tilak Varma (21 y 135 d): Despite his young age, Tilak Varma already had proved himself in previous seasons of the IPL. So, he will be in the limelight from the beginning of the season and the Hyderabad player will have India sights as well.

Anshul Kamboj (23 y 108 d): Anshul Kamboj will be playing his first IPL season and the young Haryana player will be hoping to utilize the chances if it arrives for him.
Mumbai Indians have an average of 27.8 years for the IPL 2024. The five-time IPL champions are a fantastic team and consist of experienced players and youngsters. It is to be seen how Mumbai Indians fare this year, especially under new captain Hardik Pandya.
