Mumbai's McClenaghan records second most expensive over in IPL 2017

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) captain Glenn Maxwell scored 28 runs off the 15th over which proved to be the second biggest over after Ashok Dina's 30 runs against Mumbai Indians.

Punjab were 111/2 after 14 overs and things were pretty much going in MI's favour. But there came the 'The Big Show' Maxwell.

He hit the first two deliveries for two huge sixes to set up the tone and the third one for a four. Under pressure, McClenaghan bowled a no-ball in the fourth delivery which was sent for a four again.

Punjab now had 21 runs from the first three deliveries. But Maxwell had no intention of stopping as thumped the free hit delivery for yet another six.

The Kiwi thankfully bowled the other two balls properly and conceded just one run to make the over look comparatively respectable.

The biggest over so far was conceded by Rising Pune Supergiant bowler Ashok Dinda against Mumbai Indians.
