Former India cricketer Murali Vijay blasted Sanjay Manjrekar on Twitter on Wednesday.
Sanjay Manjrekar has been accused of his biased views while commentating in the past as well. From making derogatory comments about players to having a sweet mouth for Mumbai players - Manjrekar has been a man of question without a doubt.
Manjrekar also got into a social media altercation with Ravindra Jadeja as well, which was recently soreted out by the pair. And the latest player to take a stance against Manjrekar is Murali Vijay.
During the 1st Test between India and Australia, there was a stat that popped up in the TV screen, showing best conversion rate of Indian batters in Tests at home. Murali Vijay has the best conversion rate with 60 pc, as the batter scored 6 fifties and 9 hundreds in his 30 Test matches in India. Rohit Sharma also has 50 pc conversion rate, with 7 fifties and 7 hundreds in 21 Tests.
Sanjay, who was commentating at that moment, jumped into praising Rohit Sharma. He was all great words for the Indian captain, who hails from Mumbai. Manjrekar then went on to say that he was surprised that Murali Vijay was top of that conversion list.
Murali Vijay then took to Twitter and wrote, "Some Mumbai ex players can never be appreciative of the south!"
He then added #showsomelove and asked for equality, tagging Sanjay Manjrekar in the post, which kind of cleared to whom the post was directed at.
